Welcome to our website. Multi-Level Marketing -A Beginners Guide .

Put simply, multi-level marketing is where a network of distributors, or independent representatives, sell/market a service or product to groups, or individuals through a number of means. (This could be by word of mouth, party plan, door to door, catalogue or through media advertrising or advertising on the internet etc). As well as selling the product, the distributors also promote the company. They are rewarded by the company not only for their personal sales but are paid a bonus according to the amount of turnover their team achieves. This is the distributor,s reward for introducing other distributors and teaching them how the business works. (Please read on to see this explained in full).

Attracting the new clients and patients you need to keep your practice successful is a very real challenge, with the right assistance it may be easier to overcome.

With the apprehension so common to most patients faced with an upcoming appointment, it may seem a little more difficult than it needs to be to promote a private practice. Making use of it can bring you the advantage you need to get the most out of your invested efforts. The best choice in a professional service will ensure that advantages such as these are within your reach.

Being able to find the service most suited for the needs of your practice is not something that you should underestimate. For a dentist marketing may be a needed step to give their practice the resources it needs to grow. Success Formula for Networking Events

The most obvious thing as a networker I notice when going to networking events is that most event goers are not aware of how they can make networking work successfully for themselves and their business.

I believe that there are four things you need to do and understand before networking will reach your expectations.

The first being is to know what, where, why and who your niche market is. What are you looking to achieve when you are going to events? Are you aware of who you are needing to meet for your future success? Why do you want to be in that marketplace? Do you know where you need to be to meet those business people?

These are really crucial questions if you want to get your networking right! Once you are aware of these four questions you can then set out to achieve what you want in the most cost and time effective way. Word of mouth marketing is not a 'hit and miss' experience. There is a formula that I believe will bring success once you know your niche and move to that area for your connections.

Prior to going to any event you need to have goals on what you wish to achieve during the time you are there. Are you setting goals and making sure that they come to fruition. It is important that you accomplish what you set out to do and do not leave the event until you have achieved it.

Socialising is very important and you are there to meet new people, so don't spend the time with people you already know and have developed a relationship with already. Your time with people you know needs to be limited to at least a third of your event time. Be aware of people who appear not to know anyone and support them to meet others. This will help you move into new circles of attendees. Do not leave the event until you have achieved what you went there to do! Don't be pushy in regards to your business, you are there to learn about the other attendees firstly!

The most important part of any event is your follow up - what you do after you leave and go back to your office. Make sure you email people you have met that you feel you would like to know better and see again. It is very important that you send a nice friendly email WITHOUT any promotion on what you do in your business. One of the first turn off's is when someone emails to say 'nice to meet you, here is what I do'. That type of email gives you the license to hit the delete button!

Networking is all about relationship building and giving without expectation on return. Your first priority is to learn as much as you can about the person you are making contact with, asking them for more and deciding if you wish to meet them again on a one-on-one basis or at a future event. It is important that the email you send states what your intentions are in regards to learning about them. Remember, you do not know who they know or you may be looking for someone for your network who does what they are doing or you may just want to know them better and develop a personal business relationship with them.

We all have different reasons for our networking and it is very easy to just turn up and expect things to happen. Networking is all about the ACTION you take to make it worthwhile for you and your business future.

Discover the secrets to becoming a better networker.

As every business person knows, networking is all about gaining exposure, building your career and profile, meeting new people and creating business connections. But HOW do you actually achieve all that. In this document I'm sharing with you my secret formula for becoming a better Relationship Builder and Networker. Elevator Networking

What is the Elevator Pitch?

Old school sales personnel were told to get in a lift with your prospective customer and tell him all about your products while they were stuck in the lift with you.

It was also named this because sales people were too good at talking and would go on, and on about themselves before telling the client about the product. This still happens by the way, I experienced a sales manager pitching a $200,000 service to a client and had spent 10 minutes talking about who the company was and nothing about how they were here to help the client fill their need.

So the elevator pitch was born. Senior managers told all their sales staff to learn how to make a product pitch in less than 20 seconds, the average time taken to ride an elevator, and get all the key points across in this time.

Why the method of elevator pitches still works

If anything managers and customers are even more time pressured so your sales pitch has to be done in less than 10 seconds today so everyone can move onto the next person or topic.

Learn to cut the waffle out of your sales pitch by focusing on only what you can say in 20 seconds. In generally goes like this;

Introduce yourself (your company)One sentence about what you doOne mention of the key product being promoted this pitchHow the product meets clients needs (similar to their needs)Then throw over to the prospect to join in and start a sales conversation.

Practice makes perfect

It is still surprising to find managers or business owners that cannot summarise their business within a sentence or two. If you cannot do this, then you dont really understand your business well enough yet.

This was another benefit of the elevator pitch as it forced the sales staff to get to the heart of what their business does.

To practice your pitch write down you answers to the above questions and read them aloud to see how well they flow together. each sentence should lead the prospect into your product pitch.

Then walk across your office to the door (or mirror if you really want to challenge yourself) and say your pitch. Make sure you time yourself.

Where elevator pitches can go wrong

If you are at a conference or business event, you will be making this pitch many times so you will want to have variations to prevent someone stopping your pitch and saying I have heard this already.

The other important part of the elevator pitch is to make it interesting for listeners to remember. After all the entire point of the pitch is so they remember your product and company.

Review your customers and see if you can find any interesting or hard to fix solutions that you can use as examples, without naming or identifying them of course.

Like any pitch, you have thrown the ball to the plate and you need to see what the batter (prospect) does with your ball. This is where the challenge of elevator pitching, like any lead generation strategies, really starts.

Website Prep 101 For Small Business

When a person is starting a new business, whether it is a small business, a medium sized business or a franchise, it is usually a fast realization that there are not enough hours in the day for the business owner to make the business a success. Marketing and advertising comes into play, and realizations that technical aspects of advertising and internet marketing will require, at least, the guidance of a professional.

There are several services that offer online directory listings and micro sites, like a local chamber of commerce, or Yelp. It is always a good thing that any business's online presence includes these things, but a custom website design is a marketing tool that your business will own, and have complete control over, forever. Most advertising is static and temporary. Websites are custom made, can be updated anytime, and don't run for a specified amount of time.

When considering website design for your business, there is preliminary research involved, coming up with answers to questions such as "Why does my business need a website?", or "What will I do with my website once it's built?" are important, as are realizing the cost of website design, and other online marketing services.

Many people feel like they don't need a website because they run a small business that is based on word of mouth advertising and a personal touch, and a website as a marketing tool wouldn't work for their type of business. While this is a valid concern, and many businesses have a client base that doesn't much use a computer, or search for businesses on the internet, a business without a website is excluding their customers (and potential) customers who do use a computer. Studies show that 85% of Americans use a computer daily, that number has not gone down since the inception of personal computers. Another interesting statistic, is that the fastest growing population of computer users are those between 50 and 75 years old. My website reaches more and more people from that age group each day. Remember, 75 years ago, many Americans thought the telephone was an expensive luxury that wouldn't be necessary for business growth.

When looking for website design, or a website development firm, there are several things to consider. A website professional who can display several graphically impressive works is important, but not the end all. Flashy graphics and impressive text only compose about 20-30% of any website, and behind them is coded tags and scripts that gives the website functionality, cause it to rank higher with search engines, load quickly, etc. Many beginner or amateur website designers do not have a firm enough grasp on website development to make your site perform as well as it needs to, usually to return on itself as an marketing expense. Another important offering you should expect from a web design company is control over the content of the website. There should be a feasible option to update and change the websites content, or pictures/text/video etc. Many companies offer monthly or as-needed maintenance plans for regular website updates and website redesign. Great web development companies may be able to create a back-end, back-office, or content management system that allows you (or someone at your business) to log in to the website to make changes and updates independently.

Website design is something almost every business has to consider during its start up or early phases. Like any other service oriented company, there are dishonest and unqualified companies and contractors who look for the opportunity to sell a sub-par service. Consider carefully and as an informed consumer when choosing your website design professional.

Go to School, Get Good Grades, Go to a Good College, Get a Good Job? Not Anymore!

That's how the system used to work, right? You'd follow the same formula for success that your parents, teachers, and doctors followed because that's what worked for them. Were they ever rich? Did they make more than $2,000 or $3,000 per moth? Maybe your doctor did, but was he/she ever able to actually enjoy life outside the clinic?

Not likely. And here's why...
Paying bills, never getting ahead...That system is designed to keep money in the pockets of consumers. It isn't designed for the Average Joe to come out ahead and ever have any money left over. He may have a few nice things; big house, nice car, beautiful family. But no time to spend truly enjoying his things or his family. Just ask Lawrence Tam. Go YouTube him.

The likelihood of rising to the top with a regular job in any profession is very low. If you're REALLY good, you could start your own business, work your ass off, and maybe make a little more than average after all overhead is paid. The percentage of businesses that survive their first 2 years is low; 5 years is even lower.

The old methodology of working harder to make more money just isn't the case anymore. The new way is to work smarter and earn even more. The Internet and mobile technologies make it so that high school students are able to make thousands or even millions of dollars online. Anyone with a vision and a dream can make money online.

The formula for success has changed. You may have read my previous blog post about change within the normal business model.

The Business Model of Life

Life is one big business model if you really take a close look at it. We're born innocent and unknowing. Our future at the moment of birth is a completely clean canvas on which we can make our own unique imprint. Unfortunately we must first learn to eat, sit, crawl, walk, and run.

Many times, the learning process drills the old formula for success into our psyche; school, grades, job, success). We're all taught the same thing, the same formula. This particular formula isn't working for the people around us; didn't work for our parents or teachers, isn't working for our neighbors, yet we're taught this is the formula for success.

The learning process teaches us many things; including the real formula for success. We're taught to reach for success, but respect our limits. If we're lucky enough to have incredible parents who teach us to reach for the stars, we learn we can do more. (Thank you mom, love you! My mom's awesome.)

Where was I... ?

Oh yeah.

The formula for success that is drilled into our heads from the moment we learn to read and write just isn't working for today's money-making generations. Jobs are few and far between, and you have people with masters degrees in marketing managing fast food restaurants.

Change is Growth

The business model of life changes and evolves just like any other business model. Each generation of humans faces different challenges, and the formula for success must change to meet the rising demand. Do you think settlers to "the new land" were teaching their kids the formula for success used in the 1980s and 1990s? Not likely.

Settlers were teaching their children the family trade or how to barter the food they grew or products they made by hand. Life was simpler then in many ways. Instead of producing things for money, you produced what people needed, including yourself, and traded for other things you needed. This simple life-business model was very successful for many years.

Today's world doesn't allow us to simply trade our goods for something someone else has. Today we barter our own products and services, or we barter our time for money which we may use to buy other things we need. Products and services we provide don't necessarily have to be a physical product or service in order to bring in a good income.

Digital products and services are super easy to sell and effective means of making money. Nothing physically changes hands, because there is no physical product. Ebooks, ereports, articles used in article marketing, articles used as web content, online advertising... all of these items are paid for but none of them physically change hands from the creator to the buyer.

You don't even have to own the electronic product you sell if you have a prearranged agreement with the person who does own it. Affiliate marketing and network marketing are two of the most effective ways to make money online.

Network Marketing has greatly evolved in recent years. No longer do you have to bug your friends or family to join a program with you. Check out my Empower Network blog to see how you can get started quickly and easily, and save your business from failure.

7 Reasons Why People Fail To Make Money In Online, Multilevel And Affiliate Marketing Businesses

There are several reasons why many people fail to earn reasonable sums of money from their various online businesses. These reasons range from simple things like attitude to complex technicalities.

In this article, I will discuss the common reasons why many people fail to earn money from internet marketing, Multilevel marketing, affiliate marketing and any business for that matter. Knowledge of the possible causes of failure will help the novice networker know what to avoid to prevent failure. We are all prone to these shortcomings and need to examine the cause of our failure and retrace our footsteps in the right direction.

1. Inability to focus on one thing: Many online marketers do not have focus. They set out to achieve one thing and along the line, because of the many opportunities that abound on the internet, try to do many things at the same time. This is surely a recipe for disaster. You have to do one thing, and stick with it; succeed in it before you move on to the next. That way, you devote all your time and effort to the thing that matters, and achieve good results.

2. Joining the wrong program: Some choose the wrong program. It is usually better to join an Multilevel marketing opportunity which offers some residual income in the long run. Some people join affiliate programs which offers a one-time commission and after that, nothing else comes in.

3. Wrong concept of what network marketing is all about: Many marketers join the business with high expectations of instant riches. They have false expectations due to the overhyped advertisements they are gullible enough to believe. They expect to do no work, and as a result, get frustrated when they see the amount of work needed to achieve success, and subsequently give up.

4. Lack of consistency and inability to see projects through: Many people don't have the required patience it takes to see projects through. They get impatient when they don't see instant results. They are not consistent with their goals and keep jumping from one "wonderful" program to the next, achieving very little.

5. Wrong Sponsors: People fail because they have no competent sponsor to guide them through the rudiments of the business. Find a mentor who is committed to you if your sponsor is not doing his/her work.

6. Lack of self-development: People come into online businesses knowing next to nothing about the business, and still expect to succeed. You need to educate and develop yourself in your line of business in order to succeed. You need to become an expert in your line of business.

7. Lack of planning: There's a saying that says, "If you fail to plan, you plan to fail". Some people only have a vague idea of what they want to do to succeed. And of course, they fail. In order to succeed in your business, draw up a daily schedule, itemize the things you want to achieve and stick to the plan.

So, if you are a new network marketer, take a serious look at the above points and make sure you don't repeat the mistakes of others. Persevere in your business, and success will be yours.

MLM Lead Generation - You Need a System!

No matter what business you're in, you'll need a good lead generation system to provide a constant inflow of new business opportunities. In the network marketing world, leads are your biggest asset in growing your business. So, you'll need a solid MLM lead generation system. In this post we'll discuss some of the things that make for a good MLM lead generation system.

Years ago I was exposed to my first network marketing organization. The opportunity opened my eyes to a new opportunity and I immediately got excited.

So, what happened?

A few years later, after spending so much time, effort, and money, I quit. I had earned a couple bucks along the way, but just couldn't get the ball rolling to produce any real results.

Why?

Once I ran through my list of family and friends, I had no one else to talk to. I kept going back to the same people and asking them to check it out one more time.

I needed a lead generation system.

I was told to find new people, I just didn't know how. Everyone said that I should just talk to people. So I did. I talked to everyone, and I told everyone about my business. But I needed an MLM lead generation system that put me in contact with the right people.

I knew that network marketing was a viable business model. I knew that many folks, all over the world, were making well into six figures (some in the seven figure range) in network marketing. I knew the benefits of owning a home based business. I knew that network marketing would give me everything I wanted, if I could only find the answer to generating leads.

Well time passed and once again I found myself faced with the opportunity of getting involved in network marketing; this time with a different company. But there was still the looming question of generating leads. My uplines-to-be, offered some advice and pointed me to some research.

I gotta tell you, life changed at that moment. It was like the lights suddenly turned on and I could see. I have been more than happy with the results of my efforts and am confident that the future will be bright. Even in today's dreaded economy, I am constantly working with folks and building my business.

What makes for a good MLM lead generation system?

Here are 7 key elements to look for:

1. Experience and Expertise

A quality MLM lead generation system is built by team of experts with extensive experience in Internet marketing. They've mastered the tactics of online lead generation and genuinely want you to have success. The system offers consistent training and guidance on the best ways to employ the system and generate leads at no additional cost.

2. Places Focus on Results

The system provides quick start training to produce immediate results. The system you choose should provide step-by-step training to get you up and running in a short amount of time. The system should also provide extensive training on how to customize and implement the entire system.

3. Proven Results

The system you choose should provide: lead capture pages, sales copy, and autoresponder messages that are all tested and perfected before becoming part of the system. The purpose of you purchasing the system is to leverage the expertise of others. The system should provide proven methods and proven results. Additionally, the system you choose should be constantly expanded and updated as the dynamics of online marketing change. This, of course, should be at no additional cost.

4. Relationship Building

Choose a system that is turn-key, provides easy set up and training, and incorporates and auto-responder. While you may choose to purchase a more robust auto-responder service, make sure that the system you choose has one built in that will send periodic emails to your leads. Sample emails should be provided in the system, but it should also allow for custom emails to be written.

5. Multiple Marketing Strategies

Once you set up your lead generation system, you'll need a way to reach people. This requires marketing. The system you choose should have built in marketing strategies and step-by-step training on how to implement simple and proven strategies.

6. Monetization

Wouldn't it be great if the lead generation system could pay for itself? Choose a system that provides numerous product campaigns. This will allow you to market yourself, your primary business, and take advantage of leads that choose not to get involved in your primary business but may need to acquire the knowledge and training that you now possess. Choose a system that will allow you to earn through it, not just generate leads.

7. Customizable to me! You're generating leads for your business so the lead generation system you choose will need to allow you to add in your own branding elements. The system you choose should provide for customization and branding.

Learn more about my network marketing company and the MLM lead generation system that I chose.

Best to all,

Robert Jerome
